The body clock
Ticking and timing
Wakes me up before the alarm rings
But I enjoy Sleep between Snooze, just like a queen
Each moment that passes is crucial
As I have to adhere to timings that are strictly official
I love few moments of this strict regime
Reading the headlines of the newspaper
And sulk and whine
A glass of water and the refreshing ginger tea
Enough are these to wake my senses and make me alert and glee
I wish to wake up early and be free
But I am stuck with my mornings at Seven that are same for years counting to three!
